LSJ Speaker Series

The Lehigh English Department hosts an ongoing Literature and Social Justice Speaker Series, bringing to campus distinguished literary critics and writers who can enhance our understanding of the distinctive ways in which literature contributes to movements for social justice. We bring international luminaries and emerging scholars, local practitioners and our own alumni – often in collaboration with other programs and departments on campus.  Participants in the LSJ Speaker Series deliver public lectures, discuss work-in-progress, meet with department graduate students, and conduct workshops, giving students in our department an opportunity to learn from distinguished visiting scholars.
