Isaiah is a born and bred Staten Islander. In 2019 he graduated from CUNY Brooklyn College with a BA in English and double minor in LGBTQ Studies and Puerto Rican & Latino Studies. Before attending Lehigh, he received his MA in Latin America and Caribbean Studies at Columbia University. Isaiah’s research interests broadly explore queer Afro-Caribbean identity formation, mixed race ideologies, and the intersections of horror and retributive justice.
