Alonso Toloza

Alonso received a BA in English and a minor in French in 2020 from the University of California, Riverside. His primary research interests include Multilingual Learning and Education, Romance Languages, Latinx literature and Culture, and Transnational Studies. He’s currently interested in studying the intersectionality in language and identity formation, specifically, how language as a dimension of identity plays a role in academic success and social mobility. Outside of academia, Alonso enjoys visiting theme parks and museums, and whenever possible, he also enjoys traveling and exploring other cultures.
